At the same time, can we get the post counts reset? I think that will really help with the mass confusion.

Good idea :D

Appreciate the fact that you guys are making this process as simple as possible. If you don't exist on RM tomorrow, you'll know why.... :D

Is there a board out there that you know of, with a similar look and feel as the new one will be, so we can have a sneak peak?

it will have a similar look and feel to our current one, but with a slightly different layout and will look just a little more modern. :) The features of the upgraded board will be more different than the look, and that's where the learning curve will be. There will also likely be a bunch of template tweaking for the first little while.

I was looking at some of the templates for the color schemes that are available..(from the link provided earlier, you just have to play around to find it).... WOW, talk about some messed up ones that you could use. like blue on a black background.. that was hard to read and after looking at it, the regular pages looked all funky....

Anyway, progress is always good, lets hope it goes smooth tonight.

I don't know for sure, but warning you of the *possibility*:

the id numbers of people and posts may change. In fact, I'm quite sure they will. This means that your userid number will change (not that anyone cares about those!) and also that the links to posts may break. For example, if right now there are links in posts to other posts, those links may not work anymore after the conversion. :( But I don't know for sure yet until I do it, so we'll see.

At the top of the page, under "board index" click on "user control panel." You'll find tabs that you can change your profile, sig line, avatar, etc.
