Vote: Do you want "the button"?

Postby La » Wed Jan 13, 2010 12:56 pm

ETA: This poll is for entertainment purposes only. :P

If anyone was in the Olympic thread, you'll see that an option was inadvertently left on when the new forum was created. This allows people to attach an emoticon to a new post, which then enables people who reply to the post to attach an emoticon.

I voted no because I like simplicity over gadgets, but I don't feel strongly about it. If people want it, go for it. :)

I voted no because I prefer to use my words.

We have those buttons on another forum I'm on. We all thought they were great, and used them for the first couple of days, and now, we forget they are there, and don't use them. I'm happy either way. :)

I don't know what this is about, but at my house when I'm asked if I "want the button", I say "But, it's not even Tuesday! Wow!" and close the curtains...

Pretty simple to change...if that is the desire. Oh, and that wasn't the only thing that was different about the Olympics forum. Just that no-one will notice the other one.....and I'm going to change it anyway.

I don't see anything in the Olympic chatter thread so I guess it doesn't make any difference to me.

How can you say no to soup? That is just so wrong.

Kiza,

Uh oh...you might get a nasty note from RA...that's what happened when I reported a post last year "just for the fun of it".
RA gave me a stern lecture via PM about wasting Mod's valuable time.
Ever since then I've been afraid of her :( :(

As for the button...the less technology in my life for me to bother Maniacs about is probably best

ETA: Ummm...when I told RA that I reported a post because someone had dared me to...she got really snippity and told me to take responsibility for my own actions

These Mods are frightening. Hmm...maybe us mortal Maniacs need a Union..it's just a thought 8) 8)
